Based on CMF’s previous launch pattern, the CMF Phone 3 Pro could debut in
India between late April and early May 2026.
As the expected successor to last year’s CMF Phone 2 Pro, the new model is said
to arrive with a few notable upgrades. While company has not made any official
announcement yet, early leaks suggest a possible shift in Chipset. The phone
may ditch the MediaTek processor used in its predecessors and instead feature a
Snapdragon chip. It is also rumoured to pack a battery larger than 5,000mAh and
support 45W fast charging. In terms of design, CMF is likely to retain the same
overall design language seen on the previous model.
The CMF Phone 2 Pro launched at Rs 18,999, but smartphone prices have been
gradually rising across segments. Because of that, the CMF Phone 3 Pro could be
priced between Rs 24,999 and Rs 29,999 in India.
CMF Phone 3 Pro expected specifications
Ahead of the official launch, Android Headlines has reportedly leaked some key
details about the CMF Phone 3 Pro. The report suggests that the phone could be
powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, marking a significant change for
the series. For reference, the CMF Phone 1 came with the MediaTek Dimensity
7300 SoC, while the CMF Phone 2 Pro used the Dimensity 7300 Pro chip.
Battery capacity is also expected to see an upgrade. The CMF Phone 3 Pro is
tipped to feature a typical battery capacity of 5,090mAh, while the rated
capacity could fall between 5,400mAh and 5,500mAh. That would make it larger
than the 5,000mAh battery seen on the CMF Phone 2 Pro. The new model is also
expected to support 45W wired charging, up from 33W on its predecessor.
Leaks also hint at minor changes to the camera design. The phone is expected to
retain its triple rear camera setup, although the positioning of the third
camera and the flash may be slightly adjusted. Reports suggest the two vertical
camera alignments could remain unchanged, while the third camera and flash may
be placed a little farther apart. Overall, these changes appear to be subtle
rather than a complete redesign.
The CMF Phone 3 Pro is also expected to feature an AMOLED display with a
resolution of 1080 x 2392 pixels, although the exact screen size is still
unknown. A centrally placed hole-punch front camera is also likely, which
should give the phone a modern and clean look.
