Oppo is pushing the Find X9 Ultra as a serious camera-first flagship, with official messaging around Hasselblad imaging and multiple reports pointing to dual 200MP cameras plus a 10x optical zoom setup.
Jaipur, India : OPPO is building strong momentum around the Find X9 Ultra, a new flagship that is being positioned first and foremost as a camera phone. The company has already confirmed that the Find X9 Ultra will make its global debut this year, and an official OPPO launch page lists 21 April 2026 as the launch date. That makes this one of OPPO’s most important premium phone launches of the year, especially because the Ultra model is expanding beyond China for the first time.
The biggest talking point is clearly the camera system. Coverage based on OPPO’s teasers says the Find X9 Ultra will feature a Hasselblad-backed imaging setup with a 50MP telephoto camera offering up to 10x optical zoom and a 230mm equivalent focal length. Reports tied to OPPO’s own camera teasers also point to dual 200MP cameras, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, a 50MP front camera, and an external telephoto kit aimed at photography-focused users. If that final hardware lands as expected, the Find X9 Ultra could become one of the boldest zoom-focused phones in the flagship segment.
Beyond the camera, leaks and listing-based reports suggest the phone may arrive with a roughly 6.8-inch 2K LTPO AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, Android 16 with ColorOS 16, and a battery slightly above 7,000mAh, with several reports specifically pointing to 7,050mAh, 100W wired charging, and 50W wireless charging. Memory options are also expected to go high, with reports suggesting configurations up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage or more. These details are still part of the expected-specs picture, so they should be treated as preliminary until OPPO fully unveils the phone.
For India, the signs are encouraging. The Find X9 Ultra has already appeared on BIS certification, which usually signals that an India launch is getting closer. OPPO already sells the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro in India, with the regular Find X9 series launched officially in November 2025, so the Ultra’s arrival would give the brand a much stronger play in the ultra-premium camera flagship category. OPPO has not yet confirmed India pricing for the Ultra, so any exact price talk should still be treated as speculation for now.
What makes the Find X9 Ultra interesting is that it is not being framed as just another spec-heavy flagship. OPPO’s messaging around the phone is clearly camera-led, and that gives it a direct fight against the most photography-focused premium phones expected this year. If OPPO delivers the promised zoom performance, large-sensor imaging push and Hasselblad tuning in real-world use, the Find X9 Ultra could quickly become one of the most talked-about premium smartphone launches of 2026. This last point is an informed reading of OPPO’s positioning and the leaked hardware direction, rather than a confirmed company claim.
